About Sidewalk Stories The Lemonade Landing Mat:
Sidewalk Stories The Lemonade Landing Mat Coloring Book is based on the story book by the same name. Sammie Squirrelly has being caught with lemonade that doesn’t belong to him. Which Sidewalk path will he choose? Option A, B or C? Join Bethany Butterfly and friends as Sammie explores his Sidewalk options at the Magical ABC Sidewalk. Spelling activities, a vocabulary page and a blank vocabulary page to create your own!
There are two options for this coloring book, illustrations on front and back and a single sided page book. When you type in the title on Amazon you will see two books for Sidewalk Stories: The Lemonade Landing Mat Coloring Book. Also find a double coloring book of two stories combined with How Otis Oaktree Opened His Eyes, the second story in the series.
Listen to the audio book while you color and hear all the fun songs, including “Uh-Oh Trouble” and others! This will soon be an option on iBooks and Google APPS, to color the digital coloring book and listen at the same time! But is currently available as a standard digital coloring book on iBooks with two levels of coloring pages, the “Magic Rub” great for all levels. And the “Pick Your Tool” option for the more advanced. This is a great gift for a forever coloring book and traveling without crayons for kids!
What was your inspiration for this book?:
Creating Sidewalk Stories began from the Sidewalk Stories Theme Song I wrote while out walking in the Los Angeles neighborhood I lived in. I sat down on the sidewalk and watched an entire world going on around me. By the time I got home, I was racing into the recording booth to record the Theme Song. The stories and characters developed from there and are little pieces of who I am… all from a song I wrote. When searching for a children's illustrator I discovered Kate Shannon on the internet. I saw a drawing of a Moon, in a row boat, smiling, on the water. I knew she was the one! And every day I am reminded what she has brought and continues to bring to Sidewalk Stories.
Though it has taken over eleven years for me to finally out up my own money and make the series I continue to be inspired by the characters I created and want to tell more of their stories.
